Hey everybody, my name is Sawyer, and I snuck on the internet to try out this ‘email’ thing I keep hearing people talk about. Before Lil’ Paws rescued me I was living on the street, and had no idea what I was missing (in so many ways).
My foster Mom tells me I've got something wrong with my eye. I am not sure how it happened as I try to only remember the good things. One thing I am sure of is that it really hurts!

The nice Vet I have been seeing says I have ‘Dry eye’ and that he can make me feel 100% better if I am a brave boy and have surgery. Not having this dry eye sounds so good; I almost went potty in his office, that’s how excited I was! Trouble is, the surgery is real expensive and they don’t take kibble.

Meet Petey the Wonder Dog!

It’s a bird…it’s a plane…no, it’s Super-Petey! This little guy’s spirit leaps from high heights and he keeps meeting all of the challenges his little life has thrown at him with the spirit of a true super-hero. It might be a fast-paced, dog-eat-dog world, but Petey’s a super-charged pup! He’s searching for his Lois Lane to rescue him in his time of need.

Petey arrived at Lil’ Paws with a crushed joint in his right leg and some serious medical needs as a result. Thanks to Dr. Runk and friends at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Petey’s making a fighting comeback. They’ve committed their talent and skill to assisting Petey in his recovery.

As you can imagine, highly specialized vet care does not come without a price. Lil’ Paws is seeking donations to help get Petey flying high once again! His treatment is expected to cost $1,200. Lil’ Paws is grateful for any contribution you can make to his care and recovery. We feel certain that Petey will be leaping buildings in a single bound in no time at all!
