Hi, my name is Barkley and I am a mellow, easy-going 10 year old Maltese. Even though my name is Barkley, I really don't bark much except when I hear my foster mom or anyone else at the door. That's my watch dog mode. I always take care of my personal needs outside and I love going for walks with my little brother Kobi. He's a bit hyper but I always play with him and let him nibble on my ears. I like to curl up on the couch with my family and watch T.V. If I start snoring just nudge me. I like riding in cars and know how to behave. I love to fetch and even know how to sit up and look cute. I use inexpensive eyedrops twice a day but don't mind. I know they are good for me. I love affection and have a lot of it to give. I am the perfect dog. Ask my foster mom. She'll agree.

Have a Heart!
Alana
Lil' Paws recently took in three dogs that are heartworm positive — Alana, Obie, and Chastity. We are in great need of monetary donations to rid these sweet babies of this horrible disease. We need approximately $1,000 to pay for these treatments. Please donate and help make them better!

Ol' Blue Eyes Adopted
Many Lil' Paws friends have inquired about whatever happened to Mr. Sinatra. We're happy to say that Blue, as he is called, is now in his forever home with one of our Lil' Paws' volunteers. He will always be blind in one eye, but he's put on plenty of weight and is a happy boy. Thank you for you help with this wonderful baby.
It's Official!
Lil' Paws was recently notified by the IRS that the group's application for 501(c)(3) public charity status has been approved, retroactive to January 10, 2006. Donations are definitely tax deductible, so keep on donating!
