Notice: The next "Meet and Greet" event will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Pet Supplies Plus in Round Rock! The event will be held from noon to 2:00 pm at 17420 Ranch Road 620 #150, Round Rock, TX 78681.  We are grateful to the Round Rock location for hosting this event and we hope you will be there to meet our pups and check out the store!  Please keep checking back as we are still at work to find a  permanent event location.

In Memoriam: James Michael McClelland                                              March 14, 1949-August 15, 2023

One of Lil’ Paws most beloved and active members, Jim McClelland, passed away on August 15, 2023 at 74 years old. Throughout his life, Jim loved animals and devoted much of his life to animal rescue. Along with his wife, Lynn, he was an animal advocate and foster parent for Lil’ Paws. The volunteers that worked with him and the dogs that stayed with him can attest to his kind heart, loving demeanor and sense of humor. At any given time, he was able to get eight dogs on his lap and recliner! His laughter, kindness and dedication are truly missed.

His family requests that in lieu of flowers those wishing to honor Jim make a donation in his name to Lil’ Paws Maltese Rescue, PO Box 201192, Austin, TX 78720 or Methodist Men, First United Methodist Church, Round Rock, TX.
