In Loving Memory of Lisa Brandt and Princess Lucy

At Lil’ Paws, our adopters become part of a lasting rescue family, and today we honor the extraordinary life of Lisa Brant and her cherished companion, Princess Lucy.

In 2011, a sweet, 5-year-old Maltese named Lucy came into our care. Being completely deaf, Lucy needed a home filled with patience and grace. Within a week, Lisa applied to adopt, and their connection was instant magic. Upon bringing her home, Lisa shared a sentiment we will never forget: "This dog is an answered prayer."

Lisa gave Princess Lucy a vibrant, loving home where she thrived to the age of 17. Over the years Lisa remained a dedicated supporter of Lil’ Paws, ultimately honoring the rescue with a deeply significant contribution that will allow us to continue saving lives in her memory.

While Lisa and Lucy are no longer with us, their bond endures. Their ashes will be taken together to Ireland, where they will rest side by side for eternity. They will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by the entire Lil’ Paws family.
